Our history

Founded by Clément Desplats, Vikory was born of a simple ambition: to create stylish, longer-lasting and more inspiring chopsticks.
To make his project a reality, Clément rallied a community of enthusiasts and raised the necessary funds through a Kickstarter campaign in 2019.

After years of research, he has found the perfect formula to improve longevity and reduce vibration: a rigorous selection of the best woods combined with the ideal moisture content.
He has also given the mallets a unique visual identity, drawing inspiration from his life experiences and encounters, notably with the indigenous communities of Chiapas, Mexico.

At the beginning of 2025, a new chapter began.
Christian Gagnère, CEO of CG-MC, took up the torch with the determination to preserve this heritage while raising Vikory’s profile internationally.
To achieve this goal, CG-MC relies on a team of marketing and economic professionals, dedicated to developing the brand’s reputation and presence in all markets.

True to our motto, “The sound of victory”, we continue to pursue our mission: to offer drummers the world over highly resistant sticks with an assertive style, guaranteeing incomparable playing comfort.
